Need reco on updating records

My parents became US citizen and have recived US passports as well. I read a suggestion somewhere regarding updating records with Social Security office etc. I am trying to find out, what all places we should have their records updated?

Also, I was wondering, now they US citizen, do they qualify for any kind of medical insurance program?
