My 2c.

I really do not think a lawyer is necessary. I availed of the services of an "immigration consultant" but in retrospect it was completely unnecessary. Could have easily saved myself the money. Everything you need to know/do is on the web for Canadian immigration.


It is easy. Really. I know the US process leaves deep mental scars ( ) but you see that's why Canada is different!!

Check out canadavisa.com ... a couple of my friends are going through this firm. Their logic was that even though applying for cdn immigration is "relatively" straightfwd, they didn't have the time to go through the docs, understand the process and keep themselves updated on recent changes etc.
