L2/EAD/ Gurus,

I need to apply for an EAD for my wife who is on L-2. In spite of 3 phone calls to the National Customer Service of USCIS & a question sent on the immigration.com web-site, i still have not able to clarify on the photo size requirement for I-765 application. The I-765 application instructions quote that the photo size should not exceed 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches in dimensions. But most studios that i have contacted do not process for such requirements & give out standard 2'' x 2'' passport size photographs. The National Customer Service of USCIS is very terse (to the point of being rude) on this point & wasnot very helpful. Can someone clarify on thsi point? Would really appreciate it.
Thanks,

I can't answer your question, but why doesn't your wife e-file? That way you don't need to submit photographs.

Not to worry -- effect August 2nd, USCIS would switch to the standard passport photo for EAD ( among other things).

Those specs from Dept of State call for a 2x2 photo

Thanks for the replies. To clarify, i could've e-filed, but then i need to go to Charlotte ( the nearest field office) for the fingerprinting/photographs which is like 200 miles from Raleigh where i live. The other thing which mystifies me is that i don't find a single query anywhere on the Web which raises this point about photo dimensions. Am i the first/only one who came up against this issue?
Anyway, since the issue has been clarified, this is a moot question....

Thanks once again, Folks.
