Should I get PERMANENT JOB to use AC21 ?
Will there be any hurdles in the future if I take up a contract job for 8Mo-2 years? I am really confused.

I trying hard to change my present position due to cheapest possible salary and working on highest possible reponsibilities @ this client.

My RD Aug 27th 2002 and it's >180 days.

Please help.

Green Cards are for permanent, not temporary, positions. A non-permanent position probably won't pass muster for AC21.

Working with a consulting company as a fulltime employee at their client sites on contracting jobs for 8months-2year should be fine. If the consulting company is ready to describe you as a fulltime employee, you should be fine.
