Hi,
I am working with one mid-size company with 25 employees. I am the only one in the company who works on temporary visa (H1B) . My Employer does not pay any attorney fees for temporary visa. He pays only INS fees. They had filed for my Green Card about 3 years ago. I am paying all the expenses on Attorney who has filed my green card. I spend $2000 to have my I-140 processed under priority processing. It is approved and now I have to file for my H1b extension. This is my second H1b extension. Since my I-140 is already approved I think I can apply for 3 years of extension. My question is:
1) Is there any place where I can find information on how to apply for h1b extension? I don't mind reading 200 pages (I am good at it too) to understand filing process.
2) Is it advisable to apply for h1b extension without getting my current attorney (one who has filed my green card) involved?
All I am trying to do is save $800 fees that my attorney charges for H1b extension. I have spend over $6000 in last two years on attorney fees and I feel very frustrated with this whole visa process where I have to spend so much money to maintain my status.
I have my MBA from reputed University in USA.
My company's last year revenue was over $30 million and it is highly profitable business. They are willing to share any info with me if it helps me save some money.
I would appreciate any suggestion in this matter.
RS
