Hi! ( I've written in an old thread but I would have immediate answers so I start a new topic, sorry! :D )

I expose to you my problem :

When I applied to the diversity visa 2014 I've wrote my name and middle name, that is not written on my passport, it just written on my birth certificate.

In DS230 n° 2 "Other name or aliases" I've written only my first NAME and LAST NAME and pointed "name on documets" ( I should have to specify Passport.. )

I've contatted the U.S general consulate of my town ( Italy ) and I've asked them the same thing, they quickly replied me "there will be not problems" but I am not sure of this!

According to you, there will be problems with my case and process?

Everything will be fixed on the day of interview no problems, however you may call/email KCC and fix everything!

And why exactly do you think anyone on the forum will be able to give you better advice than the consulate that will interview you?

Sincerely...I don't know!

I just want to have more answers that reassure me..

I'm gonna contact the consulate again!

I have a similiar problem. I asked the embassy and they also told me not to worry... so let's not worry :-)

Some unnecessary stress you're putting yourself through IMO. The consulate that will be deciding your case already answered you in a reassuring manner. You still want others to chime in and tell you the same thing, then you plan on emailing the consulate again with the exact same question. Really, all you need to do is print out the email you already received from the consulate and take it with you to the interview when the time comes, just in case an issue is made of it, which is highly unlikely.
