Hi,

I am in good USA for 25 years .In system for 22 years first in Political asylum which was denied , appealed denied again , than in 2007 supreme court send the case back to judge, than few month later in 2007 got married. In 2009 I passed stock interview, last court hearing i had in May 2010 judge wanted to close case but cause of my fingerprint adjourn . In Decembr 2010 our daughter were born . In May 2011 my wife could not be present and my bad luck I had no fingerprint and judge transferred my case in PDX,OR cause me and my family moved here in Portland OR. My master hearing is in August 31 in PDX ,OR....My question ,how are treated cases based on marriage by immigration judge ? ....Probably all you know that in New York,NY is the most difficult to deal with Immigration .......Now I need some immigration lawyer to present my case here in PDX, my case is all ready ,cause is done by lawyers in NY , all he/she (new laywer) have to do just present case. Anybody know some lawyer here in PDX ?

Can I do electroninc finger printing before August 31.?

Did you enter the US legally? Is your spouse a US citizen? Does your court case include removal proceedings, or are you in court only because you're trying to get asylum?
 
Yes I entered with working visa 25 years ago .
Yes, cause I was in Political asylum than I have to go through immigration court (judge), and have stock interview.
Stock interview was approved. To pass stock interview you must be married to USA citizen.
Everything was approved but Judge to say yes.

What is that layman ?

EOIR = Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Courts and BIA).

PDX would merely be the USCIS ASC (the fingerprint place) in Portland.

a "Stokes" Interview is the one where they grill you about the marriage used for immigration and has been extended to include marriage to LPRs as well as USCs.

IF you have no arrests, your chances are good for adjustment of status as a spouse.

You probably don't need a lawyer.
 
Well I passed stock interview with flying colors ,,,it took only 15 minutes interviewing me and my wife 5 minutes. ...In New York ,NY Federal plaza where are most difficult immigration officers and hard to win case specially after September 11. It take countless times .....IO in stock interviews are very well trained .. Well only Finger prints I miss ..I am married to my wife almost 5 years have beautifully baby .I being told that most important is stock interview which I passed.
Had one arrest cause I did not have driver License with but next day I showed up and payd $75 n o ticket nothing else. It is treated as a violation/ missdemina in NY ,IJ said that it is nothing and he don't care for that, I dont know how is treated in PDX ,OR don't know what PDX ,OR judge going to say .
Should I hire laywer ore should I get Pro Bono.
