Thanks Friends. Now I have two more important questions. Please help.

Question: 1

As I mentioned earlier that I changed the employer. What should I say about the "Sponsoring Employer" and how should I explain them about changing employers/AC-21 etc.

Question 2:

Also I did not get my renewed H-1 stamped, so I still have my I-94 attached to the H-1 document.

Now should I give this I-94 (which is valid till 2003) or the other one using which I entered (that is expired) last year.

Please guys help me with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Are you referring to the possible POE question? Your sponsoring employer is always the original employer. Your current employer is the one who is different. If I were you I would look straight in their eye and answer. Dont volunteer unnecessary info or fidget too much.

2. Both should have same number. It does not matter. In fact your latest I94 is the one that came with the H1 approval.

Jaxen is right. In front of an INS officer, simply play dumb. Don't speak until you are asked to say something. Give very short precise (and truthful) answer. Do not devulge extra information or try to look good in her/his eyes.

FYI : INS officers at POE , in some cases, don't know ABC of immigration law themselves. Example : this nice girl at POE did not know that H/L people could travel without filing and getting AP. She had to call her supervisor to confirm this.

Just came back On AP

Just came back yesterday at Newark, NJ. I wasn't asked a SINGLE question. The first immigration inspector sent me to the second inspection. Second immigration officer asked my passport and AP and asked us to sit. Within 5-10 minutes came to us where we were sitting and said "you are done".

Life is cool with AP. Thanks friends for your help last week.
