As a primary applicant, I have a pending 485 application and got a EAD issued based on this I-485. Now, if my I-485 application is denied or I want to withdrew it and file another I-485 with my spouse at the same time, is the old EAD still effective, or do I need to file a new EAD application based on the new I-485 filing?
Can I file a new I-485 as a derivative of my spouse while my old primary I-485 still pending?

You don\'t Need to withdraw your already filed application

Hi:

You don\'t need to withdraw your I485 application that was filed already with INS.
You can anytime after marriage, go ahead and file I485 for your wife as a derivative
as long as he/she in United States with valid status.

In fact I did applied I485 for my wife 1 week after I received my I 485 approval last year and
got it approved last week successfully .. No Problem.

So, please do not delay in applying for I485 for your spouse and go ahead and do
it asap.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
