Hi folks, I am in queue for citizenship, and My wife was on F1 visa but discontinue her studies her i94 says D/S luckily so i hope no bars on her,her i130 was approaved in 2005 after getting my citizenship i will aplly her for adjustment of status anyone have any idea that how long that process takes to get her GC?

Usually 4-8 months (if the namecheck clears)... and let's hope she does not get deported or accused of visa fraud

well its not called a visa fraude and thats why her i130 was approaved and second thing her school didnt reprted to uscis but on the safer side i have hired a attorney and he is saying to get in in deprtation proccess it take a long time and by that time i will be citiczen hopefully she will be ok

I-130 approval has nothing to do. But For how long did she go to school?

Do not be too sure of deportation being very difficult, we have seen cases where ICE raided homes of F1 holders that are out of status.

Well, she should be safe from visa fraud accusations then... but as far as ICE paying a visit you never know. Chances are you two will be fine!

But what about they come after her (ICE) then what can be our options?

If you are not a citizen by the time this happens... pretty much none.

my attorney told me that if ice comes to u then there are lot of options to stop them cuz ur i130 is approaved and u have kids too and the deportation process takes a lot of time. so there are a lot of options and its not a dead end.

I-130 does not provide a legal status. Your lawyer is telling you what YOU would like to hear... So stick to your lawyer.
