Need help. Will my 485 be denied?
Here's my problematic situation:
I was on a H1B visa for about 14 months (mar 2001 - may 2002) without a job
At that time we didn't know about all these issues (invalid status, out of status, illegal status etc). My emp didn't mention about any of these to us.
My H1B & I94 was valid till oct 2002. When we came to know of these issues i left to india in may 2002 and got H4 stamping and came back in nov 2002. From then on i'm in H4.
My spouse (primary applicant) has applied for his 140/485 and 485 for me this month .
I'm deeply worried that my H1B situation will create problems in my 485.
Can any of you gives us your opinion of what would happen? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
