Need Help with filing for Citizenship

Hi all,

I'm preparing to file my paperwork for filing for my US Citizenship but i might have a small problem... I misplaced my physical green card and i'm not sure if i will need to surrender it when my petition gets approved. I'm considering paying to request another copy not sure how to proceed. Any advice would greatly be appreciated

You need a copy of the GC to file N-400, if you have that then go ahead and file, and then explain about the lost GC in the Natz interview, schedule a info pass and request a temporary stamp in your passport for your GC just incase if you have to travel, applying for a new GC will be a waste at this point.
 
i went to my safety deposit box this morning and found my green card Yay !!! hopefully in future this post sheds some light to other who are in my position
