Hello All,
I have been following this forum for quite sometime and found it very usefull and i really appreciate all for sharing the information.
I need an suggestion/advice regarding my personal situation.
I recently got married and my wife is going for an H4 stamping, late this month. As with some of our friends from India, i am also having some issues with my earlier W2s( less for last year, but good for this year ). I would like to know if i can do anything to resolve this issue before she attends the interview for H4. I sincerely appreciate any suggestions, advices etc., regarding this matter.

Thank You,
Babu.

Same Problem here

i am in the same situation. i am getting married in April. Would my W-2 with lesser amount cause problem at embassy? I have an appointment at the US consulate on 22nd April. Is a copy of W-2 a must to show at US consulate.

They ask W2's on only case by case basis. They will take only the H-1 approval, Passport and DS-156&157. They will ask for any additional documents at the time of interview. Most of the times they will ask questions about the marriage (Photos, certificate etc.). So do not worry about the W2 for now. If they raise any issue with W2 then they will ask her to come back with the response then you can draft a proper response with your attorney and employer.

Thank You for the information. But, is there any chance of having this issue taken care of before her attending the interview itself to avoid another 3 months delay.
