Need help: PPD Test Positive

Hello every one,

I need a help here. I am ready for file for 485. Got the physical. But, PPD test for me and my wife came positive.

I had a x-ray, and mine came clean. But they said that my wife can not take a x-ray since she is pregnent.

Talked to my lawer too. He think, it process would not be stop because of positive PPD and we should go ahead and file for 485.

Still, I would like to hear from you guys about this. How the positive PPD test will effect our 485 process? Will my wife get EAD? will this is push for 485 approval behind?? We need info if you guys know any!!

I would really appreciate for the info.

Should not be a problem at all sending the I-485 now. After her delivery, she can get the chest x-ray and try and get the medical completed and can update the application or send it at the time they issue RFE for her medical when they adjudicate her I-485
