geting my interview soon married to my U.S wife my question is do i have to do all over again my medical since i did it back 2004 for my first green card application not sure if they have this on file or they just trow it away we are going for 1-130 interview then i can file for 1-1485 for that record my first marriage never mad it to interview we got divorce and i remarried with 1 child

As far as I'm aware, medicals are good for one year- so from my understanding I believe you would need to have another one.

A new application requires new documntation. But the old one doesn't get trown away. It is checked for the misrepresentation.

Romba,

here is a romba question...:( How long was your first marriage? Did you file for immigration benefits during your first marriage? More importantly, did you disclose the fact that you were married previously during this current filing? I am going to let you in on a secret: USCIS keeps all immigration records for life, I understand there is a storehouse the size of the state of RI that houses all immigration records. :) The good news is if you were truthful in this current filing, then you have nothing to worry about because USCIS will have copies of your previous filing on hand.

For your interview, prepare to be quizzed about your first marriage as well. More so if you filed for immigration benefits... You don't have to file 1-130 seperately, you can send in a one package containing both the I-130, I-485 and other required forms, this speed the process because I-130 from a US spouse creates an immediate visa number for you. So, don't waste time to meet with the USCIS officials...:)
