Hey guys, I need little help from you. I will try to put my entire story as much as I can to make picture clear. I enter in US as a student, and all the time I maintained this status. in June 2007 my family and I applied for asylum. I received a notes from USCIS that they received my application. Few month later I received a notes for my interview, but I couldn't read what time and date it was printer BAD. When I went to Asylum office they told me that my case was sent to court. I had a hearing in a court and court sent my case back to Asylum office because it wasn't my fault that I didn't show up for interview. Since then I didn't hear anything from anybody neither my lawyer. We applied for asylum again in a March 2009 and still didn't receive even receipt. During this time my mom and sister got their asylum granted. Does anybody know what should I do???

Another question, this summer I quite from school does this any how will affect me?

Did you call the asylum office?? If not, then call them and find out what is going on. Always keep praying.

A Lawyer Might of a Great help

Call/write to the asylum office.

If you can afford it, It appears that a lawyer will be of a big help especially If your student visa will expire soon.

I spoke with Assylum office they told me that my case was send to Court and Court telling me that they sent my case back to Assylum office.... :(

if your case is referred to court. call 1-800-898-7180 and find out about your hearing date. Go to office one more time and ask them.......

in the mean time keep posting...other knowledgeable forums members might give you some suggestion.

This is great news. I have a feeling you will get approved. Just be yourself and be honest and do not get nervous. I was interviewed twice and the officers were very nice to me. My lawyer did not say a word in the interview. I will pray for you.

Hey guys, I had my interview today. I would be honest I have really mixed feelings about how did it go. I know that I answered all question without any problems i didnt have any mistakes whatever was in my application everything was equil to my words. Interview last about 3 hours, even IO said that it will be no more than an hour. It was really exhausting. She was asking me questions and like 5 min later she would jump back and ask me same question that I just answered. I didnt make any mistakes bcs it all was true. In a end she just took copy of my ID and told me that I need to be back in a two weeks for decision and she explained to me what decisions she can make, like granted or referred to IJ. I’m praing hoping I got it...
