Need help p3 review-how long?

Gurus,

NVC received my p3 on feb-7. and it is still under review. My PD is may 2002. But on my I-140 approval it says the date I file my I-140(oct-2003) Mine is not a substituted case.

Why it is taking so long for me???
Do I need to contact NVC ?

Had the same problem of incorrect PD on I-140. Correct it at NVC itself - you will have to tell them of this before the case leaves for the consulate - otherwise they are out of the loop. Call NVC operators and ask what is the PD in their database. If it is incorrect, you may have to send a copy of the ETA 750 receipt. The NVC may either correct it via the USCIS or ask you to fax to "emergencies after approval" service center number. In any case the I-140 has to be corrected if you are in EB3. Normally takes about 45 days atleast - so initiate ASAP

My case was corrected in NVC.Better call the NVC and correct it.IN my I140 approval also is like yours...PD is sept 02 but they mentioned the I140 filed date..I send a fax to NVC.they replied me back with the correct PD date...
But it will take minimum 45 days to 60 days

I called the operator at NVC , she told me that they have oct-2002 is my PD in their database. and to wait for completition of 8 weeks for to get the review complete..
But why my case is taking so long ...for review... as others get approved in one or two weeks.
Any clue?

For me also it has taken 2 months to complete the review... I also faced the same problem like like .....So many others got approved in 2 weeks..

Problem is it is not being done at NVC but rather at USCIS. Your I-140 would be reissued so as to reflect the correct P.D. So maybe for you she is factoring all this time in the case review. So about 6-8 weeks would be USCIS time - I believe that is not too bad. Are you EB3? In that case it is worthwhile. Anyway after NVC gets it done, it goes and sits at the consulate.
