Need help on Financial support for F1 (Student) Visa !!!!!!

Hi everybody,

Can anybody please provide me some information regarding Financial support for F1 (Student) Visa. I am totally confused about how much is the funding that my sponsor (father) need to show in his Bank account because he already have like 6-6.5 lakhs in his bank account like savings, is that enough or do I need to show more, if so how much extra money he need to put in his Bank account and on what reason (caz supposed to answer to the Visa officer) can he put that much money in his bank account. My dads occupation is agriculture. Please help me out on this.

And also apart from money in the Bank account, could you guyz please let me know whether I need to show any FD’s, Bank loan, etc.,.. If so how much is the Bank loan that I am supposed to show, and how much is the FD’s that i should have.

And also guyz I have tried for Scholarship from the Universities, but they are saying that they don’t provide the Scholarships for the Grad’s and it’s only for Undergrad’s.

So, I am in total confusion and I really need your valuable suggestions and opinions please.

Your financial support simply means if the money your father has in the bank is equal or greater than how much the school says is the total cost of attendance for 1 year at the school. So if the total cost of attendance (tuition + room & board + insurance + books + misc) = $10,000 US Dollars then your father must have at least $10,000 in the bank account.
