Need help on advance parole

Is that advance parole MUST be picked up by the applicant in NY INS local office? or it still can be picked up by either applicant or lawyer? Thank you.

generally it is mailed

but if you are talking about emergency AP, applicant or representative can go and receive it, unless NY INS has a different practice.
