Hello, I just had my interview for citizenship and waiting for 'oath notification'..I got married in India three years ago and my wife is in US on H1 visa..We would like to apply GC for her..We did not apply for marriage certificate in India when we got married..We are not planning to visit India for next one year..which means we will not be able to get the marriage certificate till then.
Would we be able to apply for GC with out marriage certificate? We have been living together for past three years and have bank account, tax papers, insurance..as proof. Is there any other option for us to get marriage certificate?
