Need help in appling for Citizenship

Hello guys,
I have mailed my application form N-400 and supporting document along with the checks to USCIS one week ago. And till now I haven't get any acknowledge from them. Also the checks were not cashed yet. Do any one know how long will it take to get an acknowledgement of application receipt.

Please for all correspondence (if you are not already doing so), use priority mail or certified mail with delivery confirmation so you can track your mail to USCIS.
If you are sure they have your package, give them at most 30 days to send you the acknowledment letter. It really depends on your service center. Also be sure to use you receipt number when available to track you case online.
Once you have this receipt number, you can always call their national customer service center. You will be surprised how helpful they are. From experience, they can even give you your date(s) over the phone before your mail arrives if are able to be on hold for a while. Good luck.
