Need help from gurus

I am silent visitor of this forum and I need your help.
Here is my story:

I am working for company A who is holding my H1. I am working for them since last 4 years at my clients place through prefer vendor company B. Now when I joined this client, I was on salary basis and not on percentage. Last year (Oct 02) my company A reduced my salary by 15% and told me market is bad and client is reducing rate/hr. I took that pay cut. Again in May 03 they reduced my salary by 10%. I thought I will be getting my GC soon, then I can leave them. So I took that hit too. Today again they are asking me to take 10% down while my middle layer company B has not reduced any rate.

If I tell my company I dont want to take that salary cut, they are taking me off this project (Which is till Aug 04) and telling me we will find another one. I dont want to leave this project so I asked them let me work on this project. They are saying if I work for same project. they will go to court because of non-compete agreement.

Need advise from you guys. What are my options, If i want continure working here.

It is not black and white when it comes to the employee agreement signed when you joined your company. Only a competent lawyer can answer this. I would suggest, contact your immigration attorney.
 
I would suggest approach any attorney.

When one company places their employees they will take non competent agreement. To make sure other company won't hire you.

It is all depends on relation ship between two companies. If your company depends on other one (His other employees are working too)., they won't do it, only they want to scare you.

if non competent agreement between you and your employer, I would suggest to approach any attorney, have him take a look at it. He may have different opionion.

If you are expecting green card soon, I would suggest to stick on until you get your gc.
 
Thanks for your reply. I applied my GC in Jan 2002. So hopefully I should get it soon and thats the reason, I took this pay cut.

I will call up my attorney and see what his take on this. I wanted to know if anyone had to leave his H1 company and joined client and had ne problem
