Hi, I have a friend who was travelling in the US and got a 6 month stay on her I-94. However, she has decided to stay for my graduation, and as such has to apply for a 2 month extension. She is currently being funded by her parents, and has opened a bank account here where her parents have channeled money to her.
Is it possible to name her parents as sponsors for her I-134 form? They are not citizens although they have visited the US as tourists before. We would be able to produce proper bank statements from their accounts overseas, but we are wondering how they should fill it in, regarding question 1 (which deals with the status of the sponsor).
