Need help applying for AP for my wife

I had never applied for AP and had added my wife to the 485 process.

She needs to travel to India in December and I am expecting my approval October.

Can someone please give me details of what documents I need and also how long does it take..

Its a very simple form. Go to ins.gov and download form I-131 and follow the instructions. You will need (at the minimum)
1. Birth certificate
2. Marriage certificate
3. I-485 receipt number and A number
4. and of course $$
 
AP for my wife

Thanks goodsaint.. I have downloaded the form but just wanted to know how long it is taking and also wanted to confirm the process...
Do you know how long it takes for the approval of AP?

CSC is currently processing I-131 received toward the end of July. So, you can expect approval within a month. It takes around 2-4 weeks to receive the approval notice by mail (after it is approved) <- this sucks.

Since, INS says that AP must be approved prior to the departure, my thinking is that you can travel right after approval and ask someone to mail the approval notice to your foreign address.
