Hi, I hope anybody can help me clarify this message I got from email. After a looooong wait on my TB clearance, which they said "must've fallen through the crack". I finally sent my medical on 8/05 and got there by (apparently) 8/09, I received this message from my email:
"Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to
Adjust Status
Current Status:
On August 9, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or
information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining
processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will
receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to
estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current
processing dates."
My question is: what does that mean when they said "You will receive a written decision on this case"? Shouldn't I be receiving an interview letter or EAD instead? Or is that just a computer-generated letter they send to people after they send their RFE? Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
