Hello
I have an appointment for stamping on March 1st. From the Posts here i saw that most of the cases have to go thru a background check. Can you guys let me know what kind of info we need to provide for the background check(example like address for the last 5 years)etc.

Thank you very much

There are No Checks

for stamping. Its merely a clerical process.

You will sign and give your fingerprints on form I-89. This is the form that will be used to create your physical green card.

You will be given a small white form where you will enter details like A#, address, mother's first name, father's first name, port of entry(first entry) etc.

The officer will collect your EAD's, AP's, I-94, Approval letter and pictures.

Then from the white form the officer will transfer details onto I-89 by hand.

s/he will stamp your passport (temporary evidence of permanent residence) and give you an expected time frame for receiving the physical card.

Thats it. Done.

No questions are asked at this stage. No checks done either.
