need help about N-400 part 8

i have problem about N-400 part 8 E with spouse's immigration status .
My husband is a F1 , has been expired three years, is illegal now , so how to fill in N400 which PART8 spouse's immigration status in the other？
like "Spouse's Immigration Status 1.lawful Permanent Resident 2.Other ."
so i donnot know how to fill in other ?it's illegal or something else.
