Need Help about H-1

Hi,

I am on my OPT and it exipres in July but I haven't applied for my H-1 this fiscal year. If I apply for H-1 in next year quota, i.e If I apply after april 1st, will I be technically in status from July to October as I have applied for my H-1.

You might get it approved , but you can not work from the end of the OPT until the initial date in the H-1
