In Dilemma...Please advice me
Hi All,
I did my masters and graduated in May. My OPT is valid from june 21 2004 to june 21 2005. I applied my H1 through some consulting company and got approved ,valid from oct 1. So far i didn't work on any project through that company. I have an oral agreement that i work with that company for 6 months. He didn't give me my H1 papers.
1. If i want to apply for another H1 thru other consulting company, will that comes under H1 cap?.
2. Is my OPT still valid even after my H1 approved?
3. If my employer cancels my H1, can i stay on my OPT?
4. can i work on my OPT even after H1 approved?
Somebody please answer these questions.
