My 6 yr limit is expiring in Mar 2003. My Labor was approved and I-140 was applied through the company A and I got laid off and joined company B in Apr 2001. Company B started my Labor in RIR and it is still pending and my attorney says it is difficult to get my LC approved in RIR due to the current job market. In case my RIR gets rejected and they change my application to non-RIR and since my H1B is expiring in mar 2003, can I apply for 7th year extension based on my approved LC and I-140 application through the company A ? If not, my company has a branch in India and can I ask them to recruit in India branch and bring me to US through the B1/L1 visa to work on the same project here ? My question is once 6 yr limit is reached, Can I go outside and come back in any other visa ? or I cannot land in US in any other form until 1 year gap ? I am searching through the options right now. Please advice and help me in this regard.

Regards
