Need advises - Interview passed, case approved, no oath letter

I have passed my interview for over one month and told my case was approved on 9/23 and oath date being ordered. However, no oath date till now.

I tried infopass but the officer just told me to wait. Can I insist on asking for a senior Adjudication officer or anyone supervisor? Would that help?
Or, should I write to my interview officer or Dean of the district officer?

I saw many happy people in my district they got their OL in less one week.
I am so frustrated about this.

Have anyone been in the same boat as mine? Case approved but no oath?
Can anyone advises on this or share your experience with me?

Thanks!!

They have up to 120 days to give you a decision. Keep going for an Infopass about every 30 days until you get your oath. Hang in there..your wait will soon be over.

Did you ask for a name change? Name change process may delay the oath date since a judge is required to change the name while administrating the citizenship oath.

I did request name change on my application form. However, it seems that San Jose DO don't do name change the the officer called me after one week re-emphasized that they can't do name change. I don't know if they have changed on that and are waiting for a judge?

Do you have any suggestion when I go to infopass? It seems that they always tell people to wait.

I think that the oath ceremony where there is a judge with the power to grant a name change does not happen as often, so you will just need to wait. At least you said that your case has been recommended, so relax and give it few more weeks. You can also try to find out the different dates when a judge is presiding over the ceremony in San Jose and make an estimate from there.

Schedule your first Infopass about 45 days after interview. Then schedule one every 30 days thereafter until you get a letter.

Hi Bobsmyth,
Is there a particular reason for 45 days? Would infopass be more active on helping out the case after 45 days?
Should I pass a letter to the supervisor to look at my case or should I just inquire about my case status while I go to infopass? Should I press the IO to give me more help after 45 days?

Thanks for your advise in advance.

Infopass and Customer Service line people even told me that my case is "Approved". Though I don't know if this approval means approved by Supervisor, or approved after name check, or others, they just told me everything is fine and just wait for the oath date.
I really don't know if now I only need to wake up the oath scheduling people.

Given that they have up to 120 days to give you an answer, inquiring too soon after interview may be pointless. I use 45 days since it provides you a reasonable reference point on when to start inquiring.
