Need Advise on Medical Tests Validity

I did my FP on 11/29/01. On January, 11th 2002 the AVM says "...process Resumed ". But I have the following question.
My medical reports submited along with 485 are dated 17th February,2001.
Does this mean If my case does not get approved before 17th February, 2002 I will get an RFE for re-doing medical tests ?
Basically my question is what is the validity period for the medical tests ?.

Can I do something about this?

I remeber some body have discussed this earlier, saying one year.
But I have no idea about RFE..if it is not approved in less than a year

Gajesh,

As far as I remember this validity comes into picture when filing, i.e. while filing one can use Medical tests that are done with in One years time. Once they file they won\'t expire.

PCee is right. You must apply for AOS within 1 year of medical exam. After that it is valid till app

because there are older I485 applications whose apps were pending for more than a year and they never got RFE
