Hi friends,
I need some urgent advise from you guys... here are my points:
I was in US between 1999 till Oct 2003 working in Sales/business dev
My 485 is pending since 2001 and worked with only 1 co. till time i was in US
I came to india (delhi) last oct 2003 for personal reasons and started workng with a diff co in delhi. Since my 1st 3 year H1 was expiring in Oct 2003 I got H1 extended the day i landed in delhi. I maintained good relationship with my H1 employer and he said I can come back if i wanted and he continued my 485. I am now planning to come back to US on same H1 of my previous employer...He has given me a offer letter stating that its good to know that my personal family reasons have been taken care of and my position is still vacant there and I ca join. He has also stated my LCA salary in the letter which is the minimum he can.
Now I am getting married next week and I will be going for my H4 stamping for my wife. I wanted to know....what is reqd from my end for H4 stapming of my wife..
1. We will have our wifes passport
2. My 797/129/LCA copies will be there
3. Marriage card/photographs will be there
4. Marrige registration letter will be there
5. Drafts/fees
6. offer Letter from my employer (whom i worked for 5 yrs in US earlier)
The problem is I cant give them an expeince letter in India coz that is a diff co and the consulate might say howcome i was workig for a diff co. when my 485 was filed with my previous compmay.....I even dont know if they ask for any recent paystubs....as I only have India paystubs of a diff company..do they ask for it ? If they say what i was doing in India i am going to say that my mom was sick and i was here to take care of her which is tru to some extent too.
I know its a tricky one.....can anyone help me on this...and guide me how to get my wifes H4 without any screw ups....WHAT IS Reqd/docs extra
