Need advise on B visa when 485 pending

Hi there,

I have filed I485 in 5/2002 under 245i. I'm planning to invite my parents coming to visit me. Is that a problem for them to get visa because I was out of status for a while? What status should I put on the application form?

Any advises are greatly appreciated!!
 
You just have to send invitation letter, for Visitor visa they have to satisfy the Visa officer that they don’t have immigration intent. Better visit B visa thread and get help from others. Visitor Visa depends on the Visa officer you cant help much.
