Hi all,
Does anyone knows the reason for the case being transferred to local office ? or what triggers the transfer ? Please reply..

I have been with the same Employer who sponsored my GC.

Thanks in advance for your help...

--------------5 to10% cases are randomly sent to local USCIS, EB1 case is normally sent to local USCIS, nothing to worry they will send you Interview date notice about2 moths advance of interview date and you will find a letter and it will have list of documents to bring for interview
What is your Local USCIS??

Thanks ginnu

Thanks ginnu what replying. Out of thousands of members only you have replied to my post. Thank you very much.
Just to let u know that mine is EB3 case and local office is Boston.

the crown,

my case got transferred to the worst local service center in USA. Atlanta has a big backlog.
I am with the same employer, however i have moved many times. Maybe that's the reason.
there's no way to tell with USCIS. I also seeked senator's help. I have been in the country since 1991. I don't know now how long it is going to take as i have already waited 29+ months.

Therefore... i don't know what to tell you but to keep hope. Boston is faster then other offices.
thanks.
