and let say I finsih the 180 day bracket what should be my next step (like filling up which forms and submitting).?

Thank You!!

Since you have indicated that you 140 has been approved and you are close to 180 days from the receipt date, you will very soon be eligible to use the AC21 rule.

The first thing you should do after changing your job or even couple of days before your resignation, inform INS that your current attorney is not your representative anymore. There is a Form for that, I forgot the Form number but you can easly find it on INS site.

y is that?

Hi

I did not understand y do I have to inform INS that I am changing the attorney, and Y do the attornet have to be changed?? please explain, The attorney's are not my company appointed attorneys.

Thanks

Who pays the attorney?

If your company pays the attorney, even if u "selected" it, then the attoney's fiduciary duty is to protect the company's best interest, which might not align with whats best for you.

However, if u paid the attorney than its fine, u shouldnt have to file a change form.

Myself and others who have gained experience via suffering and sharing knowledge may give you an advise or two, but that cannot, and should not, replace the advice of your attoney, ask what he thinks about it, and keep us in the loop. We might find ouselves in your shoes soon, with much luck..

good luck!!!

I thought that your attorney is from your compay and obviously he would do whatever your company says once you resigned. That could be withdrawal of your application. But if that is your own attorney then you don't need to do anything, just speak with him.
