Need advice! Won the GC lottery, do I have to go back home for interview?

I got notice that I won the GC lottery about a year ago. Yesterday, I received notice for the interview. The problem is the interview will take place at my home country on April. Currently, I'm attending school in the US; I wonder if I can do the interview in the US (not in my home country) and finish the whole process without leaving the US. Please advice. Thanks.

Thank you for the information. I guess my option is very limited here. I don't want to lose the opportunity and surely will take the conservative way by having interview in my home country.
