Need Advice: Possible Layoff after 3 months I-485

hi

There is a possible layoff for applicaant after 3 months on I-485. Already receive EAD and AP.

Ask lawyer for 180 days rule, he says it is ok and go find another job if it happens since my case have no chance to get approved in 180 days. Is that true? That is quite different from what I learn in this forums. Gurus, please advice.

It is a calculated risk

which you can take. And as far as I know many forum users have confidently either taken the risk or advocate taking it.
