need advice on strange situation

My friend got Interv letter in mail today and interview is on Jan 14 05.His I 140 is not approved yet.What is the best idea ???.Can he go for interview or does he need to reschedule the interview.Here are the details what he gave me:
Sub Labour (mar 2001)
140/485 ND Nov 2003
EAD approved
AP approved
FP Aug 04
Any ideas greatly appriciated

Why would he need to reschedule the interview???? If all goes well his I-140 and I-485 both be approved on that date. Let us know it it goes - this is a situation that will let us discover how USCIS treats the priority dates on substitute labors.

Attend interview.

It is happening. they are taking action on 485 even before 140 approval.
Read this real story :

One of our Colleague filed concurrent (140/485) some months back
He got I485 approved..(wow)
He got approval letter and got it stamped...and then plastic cards.
It is totally weird but it is fact.

Actually we other were pissed off but we all congrtulated him.

4 days back, he got letter of I140 denial.
It says that since your I140 is denied please treat your I485 denied.
Had this I140 been approved, he would have enjoyed real GC.

So INS is doing this kind of things. So you don't have any option not to attend interview. Just pray that I140 is also approved soon.
