Need Advice on Hiring a Slip and Fall Lawyer

Hi everyone,

I recently experienced a slip and fall accident at a local store, and I’m considering hiring a lawyer to handle my case. I’m unsure what to look for when choosing a slip and fall lawyer.

Should I focus on experience, track record, or client reviews? How do lawyers typically charge for these cases, such as contingency fee, hourly, or something else?

Are there any red flags I should watch out for when consulting with one?

Any personal experiences or tips would be really helpful.

Look for a firm that specifically handles premises liability rather than just general personal injury.

Most of these guys work on a contingency basis, so you don't pay anything upfront unless they actually win the settlement for you.

I dealt with a mess involving a wet floor a while back and went with Gladstein, a slip and fall attorney in Louisville, because they were very transparent about the fee structure from the start.

Make sure you ask about who handles the communication with the store's insurance.
