My husband has a GC, we were recently married. Could you Please advice and provide insight on the following issues

•Can I live in the US as a visitor under the Visa waiver program?

•If I cross the land border and live in the US for 3 months (as a visitor) and reenter Canada (by land) stay here for a couple of weeks and again reenter the US would that satisfy the law?

•Do I have to tell the immigration officer how long I will be visiting in the US? Can I Say I a making a day trip and stay there longer? Is there anyway that they can find out? If I get a friend to drive me?

•How does being out of the country effect my Health benefits in Canada – How would they know how long I have been away?

•Would This have any consequence when I am finally eligible to Apply for a Green Card in 3 yrs. Would the fact that I haven’t had a job and an Income create a problem?

Do the immigration Officers at the land border have a record of every individual entrying the US by Car and duration of their stay?

- I have a holiday Planned to Miami in June - Is travelling there going to be a problem ??

- Would my Husband have problems coming across the border to Canada for a visit, if he tells the immigration officer that he is visiting his wife?

Can000,

You will not qualify for a visitor or student visa because you cannot demonstrate non-immigrant intent while your spouse is a PR. If you otherwise qualify for H-1 or L-1, you can get those.

Consider joining UniteFamilies.org <http://unitefamilies.org>, a group dedicated to ending family separation of PRs from their spouses and children.

Thank you.
