Hi,
I got my h1b visa revalidated from DC. I am planning to leave
india soon. I have question since i am going to india firts time.
My I94 on passport is expired on oct 2003 and i have extended h1b visa till march 2006 and i have I94 with the approval of extended visa.
My question should i have to give both I94 at immigration
one given at port of entry when i entered US and I94 from new extentended visa ?? .

If some one has this experience please share with me.

Thanks
Kumar

Yes, you need to give both I-94s when you leave the country. Infact, the instructions on the new I-94 asks you to keep it stapled to your old I-94.
When you reenter, you will be given new I-94 at the Port of entry valid till your visa expires(in your case March 2006)

yes you need to give both the I-94 card while departuring. It is always good to have a copy of all of your I-94. I assume your GC is in process. It is also good practice to carry all of your immigration documentation (labor, I-140 etc)with you. You may face extra questions while you reenter because of your 7th year of H1. (One of our client who went abroad with his 7th year H1 was questioned about his pending labor, I-140 application while on his return.)
