Hello all,

Will try to put it simple...Sorry for my English...

Worked on a cruise ship, entered U.S. on Visa Waiver to see my girlfriend who's a U.S. Citizen in January, we got married In March, but could not send adjustment documents before my I-94 expired as because of some emergencies we were short on money. The situation is - money is here, paperwork is filled, any sense to send it if I'm out-of-status for less than 180 days or should I get ready to get deported and try to find my way back to my loved one?.... We both are very scared.... And I really don't wanna be illegal as I am now...

If you entered on visa waiver, you should be fine since you are considered an immediate relative of a USC. Just file before you get caught - means file 485 ASAP.

File an I-485 and do not leave the country until you get your GC. Good luck!!!

No cruise ship till you have a permanent green card. :D Just file all the paperwork, I-130, I-485, G325 (x 2) I-864, I-765. You should be fine.
