Hi every one

I am canadian citizen. I got job offer from USA employer. My company sent me prepared TN package to get approval at border I have a few questions

1) On TN support letter, there is no start and date date mentioned , just wrriten company seeks to employ me as full time temporary for the period of 3 year. Will it create trouble for me ?

On separate attorny's letter , she mentioned that i can start on this date (xyz) etc . Will this wording cover any short comming in TN support letter??

2) Can I go Port of Entry for tn visa approval after start date ( which is mentioned on Attorny covering letter) ??? If i get delay for 5 days to get approval at bkrder due to some reason , will it create any issue for me ???

1) You mean that there is no issue if there is no start date and end date on the support. 3 year duration is enough .. right ?

2) you mean that i can not go to apply for TN status at POE or border after start date of job. I will get rejection if i go after start date. Right?
 
The attorney letter is for you, not CBP. The TN letter with no date is the perfect letter.

Question No.1 - I would recommend having the dates on the TN petition you are planning to give to CBP. The following 2 examples are acceptable - a. Starting 2/10/2023, we would like to employ Mr.X for a period of 3 years or b. We would like to employ Mr.X starting 02/10/2023 till 02/08/2026.

Question no.2: It should not create any issue for you even if you go to the POE a few days after the start date.
