Nebraska Service Center Procssing Dates for I-130: Jan 2005--Any approvals?

Have you checked out about this..Is it true or just a mistake from INS? I submitted my application april 2004, have not herad anything yet? I am a little concern>.

Rahman,

I called INS yesterday they did not deny that dates has been moved to Jan 05. I could not get more information on it because I did not have my filing date on hand with me. I filed mine in Sept 04. If the dates are true we should get approvals. I also asked my lawyer to investigate furthur.

I am going to call INS today. I will let you know what happens.

I had my wife called INS but did not get any satisfactory reply. The customer rep my wife talked to said she had no idea about website dates. She said she will request to issue a letter about my case status which I should get within month. I know this is no good at this time.

Let me know what you hear from INS/your lawyer. I am look forward to know about this issue.

Same here

I had the same experience. The only difference is she knew about this date on the internet but could not help me with my case.She was confused how this happened. She took the case details and told us to hear from them within a month by mail. She also took our phone numbers.

She gave confirmation number about the inquiry. Did you get that too?
I haven't heard anything from my lawyer. You know how quickly they reply. :rolleyes:

(I can bet they will change their dates after a month)

Update

I called in too. I petitioned for my wife in Sept 2004. The rep was not aware of the significant date change. I checked the other service centers, which show similar rapid date change. Hope it is not a mistake.

Did any of you got any confirmation number for the inquiry?

If anyone hear anything from INS please post it here.
 
I think uscis screwed up the report that was published. checkout aila.org for their report, which shows that I-130 is being processed by CSC. This does not necessarily mean CSC dates are applicable to NSC. :(

So that means there is no way to find out what's happening with NSC and their cases?

recieved letter from USCIS

I received a letter from USCIS about my inquiry and their explanation is….”USCIS is now processing Form I-130 as a visa number becomes available.” …and bla.. bla.. bla.. They refer to check when visa number availability at www.state.gov…

Has anyone received this kind of letter from USCIS?

Yes I received the same letter. I don't understand why they even bother to update their website and give wrong information.

Visa number available

I called in for status update too. Do you know how to check when the visa number will be available?
