My dear friends,

I resigned the job of my GC sponsering employer. I got a similar permenant full time job from State government. I waited more than 390 days for my approval. It never happened. Moreover my employer is laying off people in a weekly basis. I do not know what will happen to my greencard. Sometime I think I did a grave mistake. Some how I lost my patience. My lawyer suggested not to inform INS now. Sometimes the approval happens without any RFE. I need your support and encouragement guys :(.

Don't worry ... you will be fine

Patience is a virtue and a virtue never goes wasted. you will be getting your approval any day. Trust me there are cases worst than yours but this fact may not lift your spirits as you have been waiting for a very long time.

Just hang in there.

Thank you for your support. I know lot of lucky people out there. My case might have gone to a guy who doesn't want to work at all. :mad: . In this economy these things just add to the misery. I was an optimistic. After coming to US and after going through this bloody GC process, I became kind of pessimistic. I am trying hard to rise from this shit hole. If you think spiritually, this process will make people pray for the support from almighty. That may be the bright side of it.

Yo will be fine FP.You did good job resigning your GC sponsering company and joining with State Govt. If I were you I would have done the same much earlier than you(Of course you have an assignment). Don't become lazy at state and Good luck.
