Hello! Well this is definitely exiciting that CIS is moving faster than we had originally thought... :) For the curiosity of all of us, can people after Aug. 2000 ND post their info on this thread. Atleast we would be able to keep some track.
Starting with me:

Asylum Grant: Sep. 1999
RD: Sep 25, 2000
ND: Oct 19, 2000

on USCIS case status, "Last Updated" shows "03/08/2005". Nothing else changed.

On line status date changed on 3/8/05.Nothing else same old snail pace.

case status "last update" was changed to "03/09/2005"
 
A letter from the Department of Homeland Security was waiting for me when I got back home from work just now. It's a letter of "Request for Initial Evidence". I need to submit Medical Examination Form(I-693) and a new Biographic Information Sheet(G-325A).

The letter is dated 3/7/2005.

Online, the "Last Updated" dated of my case stays at "03/09/2005".

Today I received my 'Request for initial evidence'. I don't think I ever provided them my bio or my medical. Hope this means that things are going forward.

You can see my timeline in my signature.

By the way, I think if everyone here setup their signatures like mine, it would be easier to find out how much progress is being made at INS and at what rate.
