Yesterday I listened to AVM, it is saying that "mailed a letter requesting for additional information". Is this regarding employer letter, W2 forms and pay stubs. Did any one received same message?
 
Talked to a IIO on July 23rd

Here is what I got:

1. They are processing September cases.

2. My case (RD 8/7/00) was assigned to an officer on July 19th.Should call back if nothing happends in 6 weeks to check.

3. They are processing EAD card up to June 19th. (I applied for my second EAD card early June).

Hope this will help.

ANyone knows how long it will take once the case is "with an officer"?

It all depends upon your I-485 filling paper work,

Usual trend is : asking for pay stub , w2’s and 1099’s if any.

One who is working for lucent, they are asking for 6 months pay stubs, w2’’s basically to check are we getting paid or not.

Other than above , might be medical ,birth certificates etc.,

   Are they processing EAD applications who sent on or before 6/19?
   or
   They were working on the EAD application cases until 6/19?

Did you have a company name change during I485 ? They send RFE\'s to verify that.

I got my EAD and AP last year. Recently I applied for renewal. I also had change of address.

yesterday i talked to an iio about my case status, she said they would send out a letter asking for evidence. i don\'t know what\'s the difference between the "evidence" and "reference". i got ap and ead once. my case detail is: pd: 10/96
                         rd: 08/09/2000
