ND Oct 5 2000, AVM: RFE has been mailed, problem: huge salary cut, EB1

Just called the AVM and heard that an RFE has been mailed today.

When my I-485 was filed, my lawyer said it\'s not necessary to send an employment letter, so I guess it\'s for an employment letter.

My problem: thanks to the economic downturn I now only make 40% of the salary I made when my I-140 was filed. I\'m an EB1 (Intercompany Transfer) without LC. Is there anybody in similar situation?

Would be gratefull for any hints.
 
May not be a problem...

For EB1 Salary may not be an issue... Pls check with your lawyer... Wait for the RFE, it may not be employment letter. Please post all your details like PD RD ND etc...

EB1 PD 5/30/00, RD 9/20/00, ND 10/18/00, AD 8/27/01 - No RFE.
 
Can\'t think of anything else...

Beside the employment letter, everything was in the package: W2, pay stubs, birth certificate etc.

My Details:

PD 12/23/99, I-140 approved 7/14/00, I-485: RD 9/8/00, ND 10/05/00, L1 expired June 30th, working on EAD, EAD will expire 12/12/01

I was on a leave of absence for 6 month and just started working again for half salary.
 
Wait for the RFE... Is your company on your side?

Just make sure they are... If they are, it will be lot easier.

Meanwhile, talk to your lawyer...
