I just got this email:

"This case has been approved. On September 9, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

My timeline:

ND 10/01
FP: 7/04
RFI: 7/21/05
BIO: 8/6/05
LUD: 8/9/05, 9/7/05,9/8/05
AD: 9/9/05

Hope this will encourage those with the close timeline.

Congratulations! You now have the weekend to mull over what you went through over the last 4 years waiting for your GC. You will find that you can be proud of toughing out the ups and downs of life as an asylee. Anyone who has gone through this process is a very strong person.

For those of us who are still waiting, especially for those with ND 02, it appears that CIS is finally making a headway into '02 cases (if you can overlook today's messages of a processing time of 850-900 days at TSC).

Well, I will stop here with the negativity and wish you again an enjoyable life as a LPR.
